Default Anyone forecasting what May maybe like

The first week of this month is forecast to be abysmal. Does anyone have any
idea what the rest of the month maybe like?

Frosted Earth long- range forecast out last November was spot on for April
temperatures but it was wetter than expected.
In answer to Gavin's enquiry about May I quote from what has been out since
November 2003:

May 2004
A rather unsettled and cool month with thunderstorms more frequent than
average and rain above par. Low pressure prevailing. Some very cool days in
last week or so. Sunshine below average.

The first week looks as though it will be just about hitting the bulls-eye.
