I don't think that was the cold front, Phil. That went through here at
Wokingham around 0900, and was marked by a band of heavy rain, (33 mm/hr rain rate here at 0835Z). We also had a thunderstorm 1306 to 31 Z, and hail shower at 1433Z. The former gave a temporary drop in temp of 2.5C, and the latter a drop of circa 1.5C. The image below shows the Cb cluster over the Salisbury Plain area that probably gave the TS here. The cold front itself is over east Kent at that time (1117Z). http://www.btinternet.com/~wokingham...17-c-uk-s.html -- Bernard Burton Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. You are right Bernard.
I was in Bournemouth for the day and jumped to conclusions. Thanks Phil "Bernard Burton" wrote in message ... I don't think that was the cold front, Phil.
