Already experienced 37C in France a couple of weeks ago. I was glad I didn't
have to work in it.

My daughter is currently in Majorca and says she is experiencing record
temperatures well into the 40s. Not seen anythin about it in the media
though.

The highest at Palma Airport (Majorca) this summer is 39.9°c on the 20th,
and 39.8°c on the 21st. So 40°c + I would imagine in many locations on the
Island. The last week a cool! 31 to 33°c.

Interesting low pressure struck southern Italy, I would imagine we will see
more of those with the SST's 28°c +.
