Default Isle of Man clearance

There seems to be one of those peculiar holes in the overcast in the Irish sea again-

Could it be caused by radiation from the sea just south of Sellafield
nuclear power station:-?

Actually this map does show that part of the Irish Sea warmer than the rest.

Yerss,it's all those narsty neutrons.

IIRC last time it occured the best idea was that it was due to subsidence in the lee of high ground,
