Can anyone give me a source for hourly (during daylight hours) detailed
visible satellite images of the UK? Infr-red is no problem but for some reason visible images are not updated as often. Are they from different satellites or do they take longer to process? |

Thanks to you both. The BBC don't update the visible very often - it is still showing 1500 yesterday 20th May. As for TV Francis Wilson is the only forecaster I've seen who makes extensive use of visible images, for instance to describle why and where certain areas of the UK are plagued with low cloud during an inversion as happened recently.
