Countryfile

Extreme heat, records broken day and night

29C today
33C tomorrow
33C tuesday
34C wednesday

Storms about too, se england looks best for wednesday
or thursday

WOW!

And warnings about heat stress too.
Heat stress?? You don't get warnings about *that* in every
Countryfile forecast!

Anyhow, if they are forecasting 34C then I think that somewhere will get
a 35C, possibly even a 36C.

That was some forecast. I made sure that I saw that one. As you said,
"heat stress". You don't see that one too often.
We all know that the BBC underforecast the temperatures and 34C is the
highest I have seen on UK TV. I was not here in 1990.
I am still reckoning on a few 35 or 36'sC. It does seem that a 37C maybe
possible but I am not sticking my neck out on that one.
Lets see. One final point has anyone noticed that they are expecting 32
and over all the way to next Saturday. At this rate it will not take long
for this August to head for a new record. It is still too early to say of
course.
Thank God for air conditioning.

Regards Gavin.
