Default Yet another colder-than-average month

I've just been putting together my numbers for May for the
COL bulletin. The AWS in the grounds of our château
in the middle of France doesn't have a long record, so
I keep a close watch on the figures at the nearest official
station which is Limoges airport.

Their differences from normal since last June a
June +4.5
July +1.1
Aug +5.9
Sep -0.1
Oct -1.8
Nov +1.6
Dec -0.2
Jan -0.8
Feb 0.0
Mar -1.5
Apr -1.4
May -0.5

So eight of the last nine months have been normal or
below ... so if, like me, you're wondering where the
next cooler-than-average month is coming from ....
well, it's only a 10-hour drive away.

The worm turns (on eurostar). Global cooling, 200-odd miles south!
