Just checked our mercury max/min gauge on the garage (sheltered, North facing). I see a max of 29.8°C today. Max of 24.7C today, above 20C from 1030 to 1900ish. Temperature must have brought the shrews in, evicted 3 of the little blighters today. -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |

My site here in Worcester, just south of the city centre is on a very sheltered south sloping site, and does have a tendency to cook on days such as this when there is very little wind and cloudless skies. Nick. Just checked our mercury max/min gauge on the garage (sheltered, North facing). I see a max of 29.8°C today. I'm halfway between Worcester and Malvern in a location that isn't that sheltered. 28.9C here in Cheltenham, so your figure doesn't sound too unreasonable. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham |
