Is this right? Both the LI and CAPE off the scale? Weds should be an intresting day!! A mape of CIN (convective inhibition, or "negative CAPE" as it's sometimes called) might also be useful to look at to see what the air parcels in the CAPE calculation have to overcome for the CAPE to be released. In fact a tephigram for Wednesday would be ideal! I didn't see many storms forecast by the BBC on Wednesday... Cheers Richard |
