Well I'm glad its not. If it was January with todays temperatures, why
Alastair and Dancey (with wolves) would be going berserk!

According to "The Day after Tomorrow" my son would be fighting them off!

Cheers, Alastair.

wolves

I've yet to see the film (it's on my to-do list), but apparently the wolves
therein are computer generated ones (just as well, as I've heard one gets
punched at some stage).

It's not really the place for it, I know, but if you've checked the TWO
forums you'll know I have a certain interest in wolves! Indeed, they're
most unlikely to attack people, so I'd wager they've been over-hyped in the
same way certain weather events have in the film.

As for "dances with wolves", does this count? :P

(Yes, that's me - great fun it was too).

And finally getting back on topic, it's good to see a reminder that similar
setups have occured in January as recently as this year! In fact, some of
the 850hPa temperatures on the models for later this week wouldn't be out of
place in January either.....
