Rain set in just before midday and still going at 2015. Up to 1800 measured just
14.8 mm but since become heavier. Fog all afternoon with visibility 50m and
still foggy. Not much wind so far but has recently risen to near gale force 7
with gale force gusts. Had to take plants into shelter away from the patio which
is catching the full force of the SE wind. Already lost a hanging basket which
blew down and broke. Max temp. 13.5 deg C and the log fire is burning nicely.
