Currently SHRA with vis around 5kms - seems to be a band of Showers move E across the S. Phil .... ~10mm so far since 18Z yesterday (Tuesday) ... very welcome and all absorbed nicely! No puddles and the grass actually looks a little less jaded. The birds are actually a bit 'chippier' as well: it has been quite noticeable over the past couple of weeks just how many we've had coming to drink water as local sources become scarce - we even had to put an extra shallow container out! The Robin is busily harvesting the lawn for worms again ;-) Martin. -- Martin Rowley: data via - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/metindex.htm Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51DEG23MIN30SEC(N): Long: 00DEG46MIN28SEC(W) |
