Default Tempestuous

That's the only way I can describe today's weather.
Max of 11.4C from a min of 9.9C. That's right with the
sun as strong as it is at this time of year it could only
raise the temperature by 1½ degrees. Pitiful.

Heavy driving rain for much of the day, winds near gale
force at times, never mind blustery.

I'm sure there have been many individually cooler, wetter
and indeed windier June days in NW England. However the
combination of all three to create conditions of sheer
unpleasantness, I doubt it could get much worse than this.

So come on ENGLAND, brighten my day!!
