That's the only way I can describe today's weather.
Max of 11.4C from a min of 9.9C. That's right with the sun as strong as it is at this time of year it could only raise the temperature by 1½ degrees. Pitiful. Heavy driving rain for much of the day, winds near gale force at times, never mind blustery. I'm sure there have been many individually cooler, wetter and indeed windier June days in NW England. However the combination of all three to create conditions of sheer unpleasantness, I doubt it could get much worse than this. So come on ENGLAND, brighten my day!!
