Default Davis Vantage Pro news

Owners of recent Davis Vantage Pro stations might be interested to
know that there's now a simple fan-assisted upgrade for the VP
radiation shield. It's simple in that's powered solely by a solar
panel and so produces a good airflow in reasonable sunshine but
obviously reverts to passive operation at night. The other benefit is
that it can be easily fitted to an existing standard passive shield,
provided it's of the Mk II type with the round shield elements, which
has been shipping for around a year now, and so is relevant to anyone
whose original budget didn't stretch to the full FARS station.
