In the morning photo the front lies from NE to SW England with extensive
cloud behind. In the afternoon photos the front is crossing SE England
with more broken cloud behind. Cloud is well broken over the Low Countries
in the afternoon picture.

Outbreaks of rain move over Scotland and western Britain on Tuesday night
with a smaller area crossing the Midlands into East Anglia. Widespread
outbreaks of rain from Scotland to the Midlands on Wednesday morning but
very little in the south. Drier from the west during the afternoon but
some showers follow - thunder in NE Scotland and the east Midlands in the
afternoon.
