.. This emphasises how much of a "community" u.s.w. has
become. Life can be very unfair. I have been there, so I know how he feels. Friends and family pull you through. RIP JT |

writes On Tuesday afternoon, Wendy, Mike Tullett's wife, was killed in a car crash. He had waved her off in the morning, spoken to her at lunchtime and then again just before she left her meeting in Belfast to make the return journey. Just a few miles from home, she was involved in a head-on collision. A small comfort is that it would have been instant. He is together with his family and Wendy will be buried on Saturday at noon. Very sad news indeed. I can't begin to imagine the effect on Mike and his family. It is strange that it gives me a feeling almost of having lost a member of the family even though I know Mike only as a poster to this newsgroup. It seems much more personal than, say, the death of someone at the golf club. This emphasises how much of a "community" u.s.w. has become.
