Just a trace of rain at the warm front last eve ... bright
sunshine
first thing this morning, then two thunderstorm cells passed
close by during the CF passage between 08 and 09z. The first
brought 5mm hail too, but both were very shortlived. Total rain
from this system so far: 2.9mm!

Hi Philip,

The cold front has become somewhat reminiscent of a squall line over N
France. Sferics all the way along it. At Le Bourget Airport, Paris the vis
dropped from 9999 to 1200 in 30 minutes.

Lovely day here after the early storms. 2/8 to 4/8 low-based cu,
quickly-
moving, fresh gusty wind, plenty of strong sunshine, and a high of
about 22.
