Just a trace of rain at the warm front last eve ... bright
sunshine first thing this morning, then two thunderstorm cells passed close by during the CF passage between 08 and 09z. The first brought 5mm hail too, but both were very shortlived. Total rain from this system so far: 2.9mm! Philip Eden |

At Le Bourget Airport, Paris the vis dropped from 9999 to 1200 in 30 minutes. Philip Eden Sorry for posting again, but it seems the sun has come out at Lyon - http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/LFLL.html The wind gusting to 33KT with 31degC, the temperature has gone up nearly 10degC in 4 hours. Lovely day here after the early storms. 2/8 to 4/8 low-based cu, quickly- moving, fresh gusty wind, plenty of strong sunshine, and a high of about 22. Philip Eden |
