Default (WR) Romsey... uprooted tree/gale force gusts

No rain yet but the wind is certainly making its presence felt,
felling a 30 foot tree along our road at 1230 Z. Fortunately, the
tree landed obliquely to the road which is only partially blocked.
Elsewhere, locally, some of the roads and pavements look
distinctly green with tree debris.

No further obvious arboreal problems as the wind has decreased.
Onset of rain at 1325Z coincided with quite a kick in the pressure
in an upward direction.

Rain here in Winchester that started about ten minutes or so ago. Not a
great deal - just barely getting the ground damp.

Wind seems to have died down a lot for the moment at least.
