Heavy rain - Brussels 21 mm
Brussels on Wednesday 7 July
Bright at first but cloud thickened steadily during the morning - brighter again for a while around midday. Slight rain at times from mid-afternoon. Heavy rain set in quite abruptly around 16.30 local time and continued with little respite until just after 18.00. Torrential rain for a time just after 17.30. Brighter after the rain with sunny spells in the evening but a further shower around 21.00. Quite warm in the early afternoon. Moderate ENE wind veered gradually towards SE in the rain. Brussels Uccle 21.7°C - overnight minimum 12.4°C - and 21 mm rain. Brussels Airport 22.1°C - overnight minimum 10.7°C - and 20 mm.
