Default UK weather radar

Having been afforded the valuable facility of being able to view capital
city radar images in Australia (where I live), I tried to get similar images
of the NE of England which is where I was born.

I ended up looking at an old 'sample image' festooned with a banner
offering me access for a yearly subscription.

I'm just glad I can view my country's rain radar images, updated every ten
minutes for free !

Not running the UK down. I wish I was back there.
It's just that I think it should be a free service.
