Frontal cloud over Ireland and Scotland. Bright over much of England and
Wales in the earlier photos but convective cloud in the Midlands and east in
the later picture. Cloud associated with a small depression is clearing
from Belgium but still covers most of the Netherlands.

Outbreaks of rain in northern England on Monday night die out by Tuesday
morning. Rain over the north of Ireland moves into western Scotland by
late morning. Some showers develop in eastern England in the afternoon.
Rain moves into SW England and Wales by early afternoon. A broad band of
rain gradually develops and moves slowly east over Britain in the late
afternoon and evening but with only scattered outbreaks in the south.
