... Another lovely July day here again!! Max 14.1c Rain 4.6mm Sun 0.1hrs Mean temp for the month still almost 2c below average Hi, Graham, Mean temp climbing all the time here now. Currently 0.9C below average but the next few days look like raising the mean close to normal. Rainfall 86% but sunshine only 59%. Statistically then, not too bad, especially if the next few days are sunny. ![]() Weston Coyney weather station (North Midlands) 220 metres asl Yet another dull, misty and horrible July day here (27th) The DJ on our local radio station made us laugh when he said he'd decided to throw away the met office forecast he'd been given (which said 'Dry with sunny spells and very warm with a high of 23c') after looking out the window he said 'it was more like a scene from Moby Dick' Not quite that bad but bad enough! Max 18.6c Rain 2.3mm Sun 0.4hrs Last 4 days as seen almost half an inch of rain and just 2.1 hours of sunshine with a mean max over the four days of 16.9c! My July 2004 mean stands at 13.8c some 1.6c below average, only 1978, 1980 and 1988 have been colder in the last 35 years! Roll on August it can't get much worse can it?? -- Graham |
