Default [WR] Warmest day, Wanlockhead

Yesterday (31/7) was the warmest day of the year so far here, with the
temperature just reaching 21C. Looks like it's going to be similar
today, there's a clear blue sky and we're up to 14.5C already (0830z).

And indeed we reached 22.4C today. Getting a bit too hot for me now :-(

See my other post, couple of days with maxs of 27C...

Not too bad as the RH is below than 35% when it's hot. Yesterday
wasn't quite as comfortable as today as there wasn't much wind. Nice
cooling F3 this afternoon. Really rather pleasant out, mowing the
"lawn" and picking the Black Currents, Gooseberries aren't quite
ready. Lots of Red Currents require attention before the Blackbird
finds 'em...

Haven't found your other post yet, bit busy with other things and have a
backlog of several hundred articles in this ng. I was driving from
South Yorkshire back to here yesterday, and the hottest place was indeed
North Cumbria.

Anything in the mid 70's F and above and we both start to feel very
uncomfortable - and I suffer from prickly heat. If you've never had
prickly heat I can assure you that you don't want to try it!

The lower max temperature was one of the reasons for choosing to move here.
