I was woken up at 5 by the downpour, unusually rain was hammering on a
north east facing window, and the force of rain found a leak into our
lounge.

With last night's thunderstorm as well, I would be very interested to know
if anyone has any rainfall totals in the Leeds area - it must compare with
summer 2002? It's a pity some berk decided to close the Met Office's
station in Leeds.
