The page starts to load, but then seems to hang, with no more data
seemingly being transmitted. At this stage, all that is displayed is a
grey rectangle against a black background. I'm using IE6.

I get the "loading stormview" page which flickers in an annoying way. It
has now been "loading for over five minutes and I have yet to see the
map. I am on ISDN and my browser is Firefox.

Howard, try closing your browser and re-opening it again.

Thanks for your reports so far.

Incidentally, anyone know why on 1 internet browser it works yet another it
doesn't. StormVue that is.

John, i think by the sound of it you might need to install JAVA to be able
to read the page.

Thanks for your post though.

But a second attempt has been more successful. The map has loaded
successfully, taking about a minute at a current modem connection speed
of 50667. There seems to have been a lightning strike somewhere in the
vicinity of Paris.

Adrian,

I have tried closing and re-opening my browser, as requested. This time
I let it run for 10 minutes. Still the same result, I'm afraid.
