Default Lerwick sunshine

A very warm (19.8ºC) and sunny (11.0h) day at Lerwick
yesterday ended a run of 7 consecutive days with no
sunshine. Not a record I've researched, but it must be
quite unusual ...

Default Lerwick sunshine

Hi Philip

I just thought I would use you post to moan that we have not seen the sun
since Sunday, not even a white ball throught the cloud.

Oh and we still have not exceeded 23 C this year

and we have not had any tornados

that and the prospect of Redhill beating my Winter 2004/05 minimum (again)

woe is me in Aberfeldy

Not that unusual at this foggy period of the year! However, Thursday
was a very pleasant but far too hotn interlude here on Fair Isle - 14.1
hours sunshine and a max of 17.4C but with a reative humidty around 90%
for most of the day.

Needless to say today, Friday, its fog all day again on Fair Isle. In
fact we have had fog at some point on every day since 27th July - even
yesterday! Still feeling very warm though at 14C!

Dave
