ATB,

I have to admit having a quiet laugh, when I saw your post about
Scarborough. I knew it was still throwing it down with rain, but didn't
want to spoil your day.

Hi, Rob,

I couldn't believe it. It never rained when I lived there (;0)

(I'll email you tomorrow, Rob, with some names for speakers, btw)

ROFL.

I thought it looked familiar :-)

Here is a sample from my weather log last winter.

30/01/04 Cloudy with rain in afternoon and evening - 10.7 mm
31/01/04 Severe gales and rain, becoming dry in afternoon - 44.3 mm
01/02/04 Increasing cloud with heavy rain and gales in afternoon. Clearer
evening - 26.7 mm
02/02/04 Cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle - 8.9 mm
03/02/04 Cloudy with occasional drizzle. Rain late afternoon and evening - 17.1
mm
04/02/04 Cloudy with rain and drizzle - 12.9 mm

Total for week 120.6 mm

And that wasn't even the wettest period !

Cheers,

Will.
