Another 18mm since midnight, making the total for the month 105.8mm,
still raining and a strong NEasterly gusting to 30mph. Temperature currently 18.2ฐC, RH 100%. Yesterday, we nudged(?) over the 1000mm for the year so far. Last year this was achieved on 9th September. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow. Overlooking Loch Goil and Loch Long in Argyll, Scotland. http://tinyurl.com/55v3 |

I've been looking out for you posting, I thought you would have had quite a bit more than that today. We've had 28mm since midnight, making a total of 88mm since the rain started on Sunday night, and 133mm for the month so far. Yesterday, we nudged(?) over the 1000mm for the year so far. Last year this was achieved on 9th September. We're quite a way behind you on the year so far, though, 797.5mm to date. http://tinyurl.com/55v3 Do you know this link is broken? -- Steve Loft, Wanlockhead, Dumfriesshire. 1417ft ASL http://www.wanlockhead.org.uk/weather/ Free weather softwa http://cumulus.nybbles.co.uk/ Experimental webcam: http://www.wanlockhead.org.uk/webcam.php |

At 96mm for the month so far here. Just over 61mm since 10pm on Sunday.
The August average is only 65mm here, so roughly standing at 150% already. Wettest August recorded here was 135mm in 2000, helped a number of thunderstorms. Annual total standing at 532mm, which is in line with the average. Yesterday was the wettest day of the year with 26.8mm and today may well surpass that. Vile indeed.
