And I bet it's unbearable. When I lived in Paris, the temp once reached 36°C
(2001 I think) and that was enough. My appartment was on the top floor of of
an eight floor building and opening the windows wide at night did absolutely
nothing to bring down the stifling heat. Sleeping was virtually impossible,
if it wasn't the heat, you got eaten alive by mosquitos.

I pity my ex-colleagues tonight....

Would it be cooler on top of the Eiffel Tower, or would sitting on top
of a 900ft 'radiator' counteract that?

Whenever I went up there it was blowing a gale, so that would probably
