Default Registry Cleaner/fix's software? O/T

I've been lookig at some various registry cleaning / fixing software
and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what's the best to
use, either Freeware or Shareware. I have a couple of minor error
messages when rebooting my pc and was wondering whether something like
this may sort the niggles out?

Many thanks

Keith (Southend)

Default Registry Cleaner/fix's software? O/T

Some weeks ago I uninstalled something that my son had added to the
computer (they. the kids, keep Search & Destroy, AdAware and BHODemon
busy g)

When rebooting I always get the following message:
*************
RUNDLL

Error Loading C:\Programmes
Files\WildTangent\Apps\cda\cdaEngine0400.dll

The specified module could not be found.
*************

No major problem, just annoying.
I run Windows XP Professional.

Thanks

Keith (Southend)

What are the error messages Keith? They may simply be invalid entries
that can be easily corrected.

I use Easycleaner
http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm and
NTregopt http://tinyurl.com/v3m7 and both are free and effective.

Just run REGEDIT and search for cdaengine0400.dll and dump any entries.

Suspect there won't be too many!

Hehe,

Thanks Les, found the file in the registry and deleted it, using
REGEDIT (did a find). Just rebooted, no error message ~ just 30
seconds of stress and anxiety g
