Default [WR] S.Essex Downpour

Just when you thought it was safe to go out we've just had the heaviest
downpour of the summer! Only lasted 10 minutes but long enough to wash the
mortar away from the bricks I was just laying. (at home).

A fairly intense line of activity has slipped SE over London giving 11.8mm
in the hour (to 16Z) at London MetO. Heathrow down to 1800m recently in a
heavy thunderstorm :-

My own fault - should have checked the radar or at least eaten more carrots
so I'd have seen it coming ;-(
