Everyone -

Our local BBC Waether had a report of a funnel cloud reported at Darlington
this evening, complete with photograph. Surprisingly no mention about mini -
anything (:

Anybody get anyting else - Darlo isn't really my neck of the woods.

Les

Hi, Les,

Nothing in Copley, although the storm was visible from here. I see it's
made the Daily Mail this morning. My daughter works in Darlo but didn't
mention it (no surprise there!)

ATB,

I've been visiting the parents and in-laws in Darlington, so I saw the
report in the Northern Echo. Impressive photo. I haven't got any more
details I'm afraid, but someone my mother in-law knows got off a bus at
the height of the rain storm on Tuesday and was literally soaked through
to her underwear in seconds. A nearby householder took her inside to dry
off, she was in such a bad way.
As started our journey back today, we could see
large areas of standing water in the fields.
