Default ANNOUNCE: Updated FAQ & Glossary

As subject: the late summer updates are now on my web site: ... best url
to use (for access to these and other information) is:-

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/uswfaqfr.htm

There is also an alphabetical index available which will help find
particular information.

I would particularly recommend Section 4 (a general sites listing). This
is not exhaustive, but if you are new to meteorology and want to get up
and running quickly with a list of web sites, then the entries here will
either do the job straight off, or more likely, you will find what you
need via these sites.

Section 3 (sites for specific information areas) is also worth looking
at. I'm toying with the idea of having a completely *new* Section for
'Climate change' (at present just one Q/A within this section .. Q/A
3.3). It would become Section 9. If you have sites that have good
*scientific* information on the subject, let me know.

Section 7A will also be of interest for those of you later this autumnal
season making lists for Father Christmas ;-)

Martin.
