Nice description of August's weather in today's Telegraph from Philip Eden.
I was amazed to see that Shap in Cumbria had over 12 inches of rain. That is
half the annual total for us here in Cambridge, incredible.
I look forward to the Indian summer we are supposed to have. Lets bring
it on :-) It was pleasant today for starters and the outlook is good.
