I meant to post this last Sunday ... picking up a really
big shiny one this lunchtime reminded me that I hadn't: QUOTE To the Editor of the Times Dear Sir I picked up two ripe conkers this morning, Sunday August 29. I have never done this in August before. Is this a record? Yours, etc. END QUOTE Philip Eden |

Philip the winters are so mild its probably last years. Oh and on a personal
