Slightly warmer than 1999 in Penzance

1999 1st 7 days
Av. Max 23.2
Av. Min 14.1
Average 18.65

2004 1st 7 days
Av. Max 23.7
Av. Min 13.8
Average 18.75

Both years are really quite exceptional

Both Bournemouth and Weymouth passed 100h sunshine
for the month on the 9th ... the only other September
to match that in the last 50yrs was 1991.

The period from 3rd-9th was my warmest September week in 22 years, at
18.3°C.
