I tend to agree with Martin on this one: if it's not a fake it's one of several "streamers" that went up from the ground as the pool of electrons from the exploratory downward leader neared the ground. I have a picture somewhere which shows several streamers going up from treetops & chimneys etc but only one made the connection. If I can find it, I'll post it to alt.binaries.weather. Nigel Aagh! Every time I learn something new... it pushes something old out of my brain! |
