NOAA 17 photo shows low centres west of Scotland and over northern England
with showers circling round them. Still quite sunny over the Low Countries
at that time. Later NOAA 16 photo shows a depression centre west of
Scotland with bands of convective cloud over Britain and showers in eastern
England. Organised line of showers along the Dutch coast and into western
Belgium.

Outbreaks of heavy rain over NE Ireland and northern Scotland on Monday
night with widespread showers elsewhere in Ireland and over western Britain.
Some showers with thunder in places in southern England. Showers merge
into larger outbreaks of rain in Wales, NW England and SW Scotland by
Tuesday morning. Showers throughout Britain on Tuesday but not many in
southern England. More general rain in NW and extreme northern England in
the evening.
