Driving home this evening, on the college run and we noticed lightning
to the NE - much to our surprise as nothing so active had been forecast. Sure enough, looks like a storm over NE norfolk: (Coltishall) EGYC 281850Z 26011KT 9999 TS FEW016CB SCT022 BKN080 16/13 Q1013 TEMPO 7000 RA SCT012 -- Chris www.ivy-house.net Swaffham, Norfolk |

Yes, I noticed some castellanus towers to the north east from Coulsdon when
I was walking down into the Chipstead Valley to do the post mid afternoon Tuesday. They were visible in a clear gap through the lower level strato cumulus.
