Default Weekend weather, opinions please

I've just about had it with the BBC!
The weather forecast for West Wales this weekend has changed this week
from being sunny, to it now being wet and windy.
I'm planning on taking my daughter to Oakwood Park near Tenby, West Wales.
In terms of rain which would be the best day this weekend to go?
Don't care about temperature or wind that much, it's rain that will be the
deciding factor.

Thanks
Gareth

Confidence now seems to be high that rain will move north from the
Biscay/France area during late Friday/early Saturday. Both the UKMO and
GFS suggest rain there on both Saturday and Sunday.

I'd be hard pushed to suggest the better day based on the charts. There
has to be some doubt about the speed of northward movement and just how far
it will get though in the short term.
