In the 7th tropical storm is going to hit Japan.
And although Ma_On is quite compact it is going to be a glancing blow. Its last reading: 898 mbar, 140 kts. It will hit Japan as (probably) an upper end cat. IV. The bay near Nagoya, a densely populated area, may well receive the full blast and its accompanying storm surge.
