Default Somebody wants their ar*e kicking for forecasting cold this week.

Wonder how much heating oil has been bought this week.

People who make forecasts should be accountable otherwise how do we trust what
they say

Anyone who buys heating oil on the back of some tabloid forecast
deserves what they get.

Just an observation...

AB has no accountability. Perhaps he is now reflecting upon the havoc he has
caused, but perhaps he just sees it a publicity.

You're correct people should be accountable there should be an offence of
forecasting without due care and attention, or reckless forecasting.

???...... Wednesday morning down to minus 4 near Aviemore. Water outside was
still frozen solid by 10am. Today has been the first mild day all week. A
covering of snow on the top of Cairngorm still!

So? Heating oil doesn't go bad, does it? In any case there could be a
commercial penalty for continually issuing bad forecasts.
If forecasters could be sued for their mistakes they would simply issue
forecasts that cover everything and thus be meaningless. Or they could insure
themselves, which is expensive, and there'd be fewer forecasters.
Let the user beware!

Hey I like that page, even if it is US based.

However I think "Get it while you can.." should really read "Get it
while you can afford it.."

26.9p/l + VAT at the begining of last week. B-( Now trying to work
