![]() Apparently the main Penzance sea wall along the prom is breaking up. If that happens it will be the first time it has been breached since 1962, and could allow large areas to be flooded. Graham |

Hope it doesn't get too bad, Graham. Porthleven was on the News and a brief
mention of the sea wall at Penzance. Good luck! Dave "Graham Easterling" wrote in message ... Apparently the main Penzance sea wall along the prom is breaking up. If that happens it will be the first time it has been breached since 1962, and could allow large areas to be flooded. Graham |

I'm sure I speak for all on here when I say that our thoughts are with you all down there. Any idea how Mousehole is faring ? I went on my honeymoon there a long time ago ! ATB, Will. -- |

ATB, Will. -- I'll be there tomorrow Will, to check on my holiday cottage. It has not been possible to get there since 5pm as the road through Newlyn is well under the sea. I intend to check (when the fuss dies down) just how far the sea at Newlyn was above the predicted, already very high, levels. It's looked for several days like things could turn really nasty here. It's amazing how long it's been since a SE gale has coincided with such a high tide. Graham |
