Default Incorrect forecasts ooops

Matt hugo Posted - 09/08/2003 : 22:47:14

This evenings FAX chart show the frontal feature over us so I would
certainly expect an increase in frontal cloud but to be honest I would rate
the risk of thunderstorm activity as LOW for the NW region tonight. There is
really nothin in evidence to suggest the front will bring anything
significant at the right time of day. There is certainly the risk of one or
two heavy bursts of rain but for the majority the main activity is likely to
be medium based so any precipitation activity is likely to limited this is
why I mentioned before many regions are likely to see at least 13 or 14 days
without a single drop of rainfal

Thunderstorm approaching the Rossendale region from the Southwest as a type
now. The thunderstorm activity is a text book example of thunderstorm
development within the high WBPT (Wet Bulb Potential Temperature) plume
ahead of the cold front and as some have mentioned are likely to be rather
severe to say the least!...

Added [Thursday August 07 2003 : 1:00:00 PM] Right, we are gonna get heavy

cloud in the sky from Saturday until Sunday and if you have a garden then
there is NO EXCUSE not to have a BBQ.
