This evenings FAX chart show the frontal feature over us so I would certainly expect an increase in frontal cloud but to be honest I would rate the risk of thunderstorm activity as LOW for the NW region tonight. There is really nothin in evidence to suggest the front will bring anything significant at the right time of day. There is certainly the risk of one or two heavy bursts of rain but for the majority the main activity is likely to be medium based so any precipitation activity is likely to limited this is why I mentioned before many regions are likely to see at least 13 or 14 days without a single drop of rainfal then Matt Hugo Posted - 10/08/2003 : 08:50:56 Thunderstorm approaching the Rossendale region from the Southwest as a type now. This weekend, England will have no cloud..... honestly, not a drop of cloud in the sky from Saturday until Sunday and if you have a garden then there is NO EXCUSE not to have a BBQ. wooops ![]() |
