Default Sferics Normandy....

Quite a noisy time by the looks of it - maybe a chance of this hitting the South Coast later?

Looks like they already have, Cupra, with one not long ago near Dorchester.
The line running up towards Bournemouth appears to have decayed somewhat
though.

Sferic galore over the Channel, with Jersey getting a lashing -

A shortwave trough/PVA max seems to have forced these (very clear in WV
images) and 11Z Larkhill ascent shows the nose that has probably been
eroded at 550hPa. 50KT wind at 850hPa on Brest sounding, so we could be in
for some strong convective gusts.

It's come back to life with peppering of sferics around the Needles
extending west towards Bournemouth and some very heavy looks cells moving
north on the radar.

16.55
Gone from glorious sun to being very dark here at Shoreham by Sea in the
last 30 minutes with some very angry black stuff to the SW over the channel.

Could be interesting
