Default Surrey rainfall last 10 days

Lovely weather to come home to today - fairly warm still with sunny periods.

I would be grateful if any locals could give me their rainfall comparisons
for the dates Ive been away, as I have been suspecting that the VP is under
reading in certain wind directions.

Here in Guildford:
Date Rain(mm)

19 0
20 17.5
21 0.8
22 1
23 13.5
24 6.1
25 0.5
26 0
27 4.1
28 2.3
29 4.8
30 0.3

Total for month 121.5mm

Thanks

Phil

Thanks Martin.

Fantastic detail on the monthly log - I'll bookmark it for comparison!

Overall not a bad similarity ( but the VP measures 00-2359z) , I think
50.9mm v 59.6mm for period so it doesnt look as though anything is
drastically out - Ive mounted the VP on the S side of a Met Post, and I'm
beginning to think that when the rain comes from a Northerly direction I get
a noticeable under read compared to the manual (gardening-V - guage) near
the same location.

Still, the wettest month of the year here by quite a margin.

Phil
