Just come in from work and found over 4000 unread messages!
Things seem to have calmed down now though.

I'm using NIN.
Is everyone else now seeing this?

Been happening all day since about 1.30pm. I must have deleted about 40'000
postings today!

It looks like it started just after 9am and finished just before 5pm.

Just come in from work, you say...?

I've had 40 or 50K of 'em today. This floodbomb idiot may be back,
even if he's got bored for now. Or he may have temporarily run out of
posting hosts as they are blocked one by one.

Either way, it's as well to work on suitable filters that may work on
headers or author names... and pester our ISPs to filter, too. I've
been on to mine, I hope everyone has - the more of us that do it the
more likely they are to bother... and be ready if it restarts. I'm
working on an "allow" filter that only retrieves bodies from a list of
known people.

Back on topic: We had a snow shower this afternoon, here!
