On looking again at the 18z reports, its still Snowing over parts of Germany
this evening:

Dont know if these are particularly high stations, but when I look around at
6c at Copenhagen and 8c at Warsaw etc, it surprised me a bit, until I
remembered seeing a pool of 528DM air on the progs over Central Europe a few
days ago....must be that!
