On looking again at the 18z reports, its still Snowing over parts of Germany
this evening: EDDM 091920Z 24009KT 4500 -SN BR SCT008 BKN012 00/M00 Q1007 TEMPO BKN005= EDDN 091920Z 26006KT 2700 SN BR SCT001 SCT002 BKN003 00/00 Q1005 RWY 28 WET 51-100 PCT 1 MM BA MEDIUM/GOOD NOSIG= EDDS 091920Z 23006KT 2800 -SNRA BR FEW003 BKN010 BKN020 01/M00 Q1007 TEMPO 2000 SN BKN006= Munich, Nuremburg and Stuttgart. Dont know if these are particularly high stations, but when I look around at 6c at Copenhagen and 8c at Warsaw etc, it surprised me a bit, until I remembered seeing a pool of 528DM air on the progs over Central Europe a few days ago....must be that!
