Limoges airport is approx 400m above sea-level. On Weds
10th Nov 2004 the METARs and SYNOPs gave: 00Z SE 5kt 200m Fog TT 1.7 Td 1.6 03Z ESE 5kt 400m Fog TT 2 Td 2 04Z ESE 5kt 4000m Rain TT 1 Td 1 05Z ESE 5kt 1000m RaDr TT 1 Td 1 06Z ESE 5kt 500m Snow TT 0.1 Td 0.0 07Z Calm 500m Snow TT 0 Td -1 08Z Calm 400m Fog TT 0 Td 0 09Z ENE 2kt 1200m ReFog TT 1 Td 0 The 06Z SYNOP gave a 50% cover of wet snow. At my AWS site at Milhaguet, alt 355m, the lowest air temperature was 1.4 and neighbours tell me there was only rain/fog. The ground min of 2.9 tends to confirm that. Philip Eden |
