Default Snow in Brussels on Monday morning

Brussels on Monday 21 February

Overcast morning. Moderate snow for a time from 09.00 CET - became light
by 09.45 and petered out by 11.00. Short spell of something like wet snow
grains around 13.00. Cloud broke early afternoon to give sunny intervals -
CBs around but no more showers where I was. Brief snow cover mid-morning
on roofs and vegetation had thawed by noon. Cold - light WNW wind at first
switched to E then ENE after midday.

Brussels Uccle 3.2°C - overnight minimum 0.5°C - and 1 mm rainfall.
Brussels Airport 3.2°C - overnight minimum -0.2°C - and 2 mm.

Yes, its looked very wintry when Bush arrived in Brussels. Not the warmest
welcome for him to Europe - but what could he expect??
